I created Paranormal Lounge to explore the darker side of Los Angeles through haunted places, horror film locations, and eerie history.
Through cinematic videos and field guides, I document the real locations where atmosphere, myth, and film history intersect.
My Story
I have always been fascinated by the way places can hold a feeling long after the events connected to them have passed.
Certain buildings, streets, and landscapes seem to carry something with them. Sometimes it's history. Sometimes it's myth. Sometimes it is simply atmosphere.
Paranormal Lounge began as a way to document those places.
Through video explorations, location research, and field guides, I visit the real sites connected to horror films, paranormal legends, and the darker corners of Los Angeles history.
Many of these locations appear on screen, but standing in the real place often reveals something very different.
The goal of Paranormal Lounge is simple: to explore the spaces where cinema, history, and mystery meet.

About Hannah
Hannah Altman is a Los Angeles-based producer working across unscripted, documentary, and paranormal television.
She has contributed to series for major networks and streaming platforms, with experience in creative development, research, writing, story producing, and field production.
Beyond television, Hannah is the creator of Paranormal Lounge, a cinematic digital project exploring fear, meaning, and atmosphere through haunted locations, horror cinema, and hidden history.
Through curated storytelling and visual essays, she invites audiences to engage with the eerie in a thoughtful and intentional way.
She also collaborates with select brands on digital and experiential campaigns, applying her production background to create story-driven content rooted in mood, narrative, and visual style.
